I dunno if I'd call it a "burst" per se... I'd like to write more often but I never seem to find the time.
But thanks for the encouragement, maybe it'll make me try harder!
As for the cartoon issue, I'll write about it soon. I've been doing my best to read up on it, and I think I should have something to say in the next couple of days.
